二、本校自110年提供Cisco WebEx遠距教學應用軟體供全校師生使用,惟近年同質性軟體功能日新月異,於114/4/15廠商報價時告知採購經費由8萬6千元調漲至41萬元,且最低購置量遠超過本校使用人數的數倍。考量經費與資源利用效益最大化,經評估後將自114年6月8日起停止提供該軟體服務,如有於軟體儲存資料者,請務必提前下載保存。

This announcement is issued in accordance with the resolution passed during the
15th Team Leaders’ Meeting of the Office of Library and Information Services for the
2024 academic year.

Since 2021, the University has provided Cisco WebEx as a remote teaching
platform for faculty and students. However, due to the rapid advancement and
diversification of similar software in recent years, the vendor informed us on
April 15, 2025, that the procurement cost would surge from NT\$86,000 to
NT\$410,000. In addition, the minimum purchase volume required by the vendor significantly
exceeds the university’s actual usage needs. After careful evaluation and in consideration
of maximizing cost-efficiency and resource allocation, the University will
discontinue this software service starting June 8, 2025. Users with data stored
on the platform are strongly advised to download and back up their files
beforehand.

To ensure that the interests of faculty and students are not compromised, the
University already offers alternative synchronous online teaching tools
